Your play expert

I have spent the last four years cultivating partnerships with the top vendors and business owners on the Central Oregon Coast. I have assembled a network of experts and together we have brought a much needed service to our community.

I have decades of experience in the entertainment industry, appearing on-stage and in commercials. I have been part of improv groups, theatre troupes, and learned puppeteering from a former employee of the Jim Henson Corporation. 

I have been a member of management for several small businesses, a trainer for new employees and am accustomed to being the face of a business. I have planned and executed highly attended and successful events for decades. 

In our community, I serve as the current Vice-President of the local theater company Porthole Players. I also sit on the City of Newport's Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee as well as the Newport Elementary Schools Booster Club. As a member, I often attend luncheons and events hosted by the Newport Chamber of Commerce. 

I pledge my commitment to excellence in the play place arena. I have completed courses through Play Café Academy, Co-Starters, and studied Psychology at Purdue University. I belong to The Playmaker's Society and Reinventing Rural. 

I have a very deep, personal passion for offering a place where we can ALL play. Inclusivity, Safety and Accessibility are the heart and soul of The Friend Zone.
