Your play expert and certified Autism Support Coach

I have spent the last four years cultivating partnerships with the top providers and business owners on the Central Oregon Coast. I have assembled a network of experts and together we have brought a much needed service to our community, Certified Autism Support. 

I have planned and executed highly attended and successful events for decades such as The Sensory Friendly Santa Experiences, Easter Egg hunts and Kideoke. These events are unique and custom tailored for inclusivity and accessibility. 

In our community, I serve as the current Vice-President of the local theater company Porthole Players. I also sit on the City of Newport's Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee as well as the Newport Elementary Schools Booster Club. As a member, I often attend luncheons and events hosted by the Newport Chamber of Commerce. As an autistic parent to an autistic child, I have a very deep, personal passion for offering a place where we can ALL play. Inclusivity, Safety and Accessibility are the heart and soul of The Friend Zone. 

I pledge my commitment to excellence in the play place arena. I have completed courses through Play Café Academy, Co-Starters, and studied Psychology at Purdue University. I am a Certified Autism Support Coach. As continued education, I belong to The Playmaker's Society and Reinventing Rural. I will continue my education through additional certifications such as Play Therapy and Trauma Informed.
